Skadi is the Norse Goddess of the Mountains, associated with winter, mountains, skiing, and bow-hunting. She was a skilled huntress who could ski down the snow-covered mountains while hunting with a bow and arrow.
Skadi symbolizes the resilience and adaptability needed to navigate winter landscapes. She is a perfect representation for a lodge nestled in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains. Her love for the mountains and wildlife highlights the deep respect and admiration that Nordic people have for the environment.
