Living Our Heritage

Our Scandinavian and Nordic heritage is very important to our Daughters of Norway members.  Please enjoy some pictures of our heritage represented in our day-to-day lives.

DON member hand knit Norwegian sweater worn by child at family Christmas Eve dinner		Great grandparents and great aunt of a DON  member. The Family immigrated in 1995 from  Denmark to San Francisco. Great grandmother  worked in the Danish Embassy.
Member's replica of a plate that hung in her mother's kitchen, a Voss bunad doll, and her  homemade flatbrød (flatbread).
