CONVENTION 2010: COSTA MESA, JULY 22–24
Turid Jespersen Lodge #44 invites you to come to the 2010 Daughters of Norway Convention in sunny Southern California! A variety of wonderful opportunities are available in Orange County where it will be held!
Convention dates are July 22–24th, but with all the following possible side trips, you may want you to consider a longer stay. Also note, most people should plan on arriving no later than Wednesday, July 21st and departing the area no earlier than July 25th, so that they can participate in the Cultural Day on Thursday and enjoy Saturday evenings Banquet.

SAWDUST ART FESTIVAL – A yearly event!
This wonderful festival runs from the end of June until the end of August daily. In it's 44nd year (2010), it offers visitors a chance to explore fine arts and crafts the area has to offer as well as actually see artists working and do some hands-on work yourself if sign-up for any of the evening classes. Live entertainment such as roving musicians, circus acts and 3 live music stages will round-out this cultural experience.

This upscale area attracts many people in search of the perfect vacation spot. Golf courses, beaches, shopping, and wonderful restaurants abound in Newport Beach.

Fashion Island is one of the premier shopping areas in the LA area and is located at Newport Center in Newport Beach.
