Online References for Bunader og Folke Drakt

Husfliden
This group of Norwegian stores sell many bunads. The list includes bunads from various places in Norway that you can view on their web page by clicking here. It has a wonderful selection of bunads that are colorful and reflect a wide variety of just a few of the many bunads recognized in Norway. Although the page is written in Norwegian, you can contact them for information in English. If you desire to view their brochure that includes a few pictures of bunads, go to Husfliden's product brochure found here. Enjoy viewing their many beautifully made bunads and accessories.

In addition to Husflidenss, there are many good non-Husfliden shops that sell bunader, especially in areas where the bunads are without copyright or places where a non-Husfliden member shop owns the copyright (for example, the Romerike bunad used to be owned by Heiman AS in Oslo, which was not a member of the main Husfliden cooperative. We have listed two such sites below. If you know of more, please do not hesitate to add to our list by contacting us. These sites are also written in Norwegian, but if you contact them in English, you will be able to communicate with them in regards to your desires for a bunad.
