OTHER BUNADS IN NORWAY

* The ribbons on the bunads had a religious meaning. The first ribbon, meant you were baptisized; the second ribbon showed you had been confirmed; and the third ribbon (missing in above costumes) showed you were married. The ribbons varried based on where you were from and had particular design names.
